AFCAT stands for Air Force Common Admission Test which is conducted in the defense service. This is an exam for air force of India which is conducted two times in a year. The Indian Air force was established in the India on 8th October 1932. The Main responsibility of the Indian Air Force is to secure the Indian airspace and to conduct aerial warfare. Indian Air Force provides jobs for male candidates and female candidates in various fields which are in Flying Branch, Technical Branch and Ground Duties Branch. Flying Branch includes Fighters, Transports and Helicopters departments. Technical Branch includes mechanical and Electronics departments. And Ground Duty Branch includes Administration, Accounts, Logistics, Education and Meteorology departments. AFCAT selects candidates on the basis of the written exam, Intelligence Test, Psychological Test, Group Test, Medical Examination and personal interview. The exam paper of AFCAT has an objective type questions which are related to General Knowledge Questions and Answers , Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Aptitude Questions and Answers and Reasoning Questions and Answers. AFCAT exam is conducted in the month of February and August.

Logical reasoning includes various topics which are Number series, letter and symbol series, verbal classification, essential part, analogies, artificial language, matching definitions, making judgement, verbal reasoning, logical problems, logical games, analyzing arguments, statement and assumption and course of action, statement and conclusion, theme detection, cause and effect, statement and argument and logical deduction.
- Nonverbal Reasoning : – the Non verbal reasoning the ability to understand complex and assimilate new information. Series, analogy, classification, analytical reasoning, mirror images, water images, embedded images, pattern completion, figure matrix, paper folding, paper cutting, rule detection, grouping of Image, dot situation, shape construction and cube and dice.
